Todd received the award on behalf of the
Bloomfield School District, which is part of SCG's Local Foods
Preservation Pilot, funded by F.F. Thompson Foundation.
Todd worked with local farmer, Chris Luley/Happy Goat Farm, to freeze and dehydrate fall produce for use over the winter in the Bloomfield Central School cafeterias. Initial results were very promising and the pilot will continue in Spring 2010. |
